After 6 months Date: September 21, 2009
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

"The one thing I hate, is writing a bad review. At first, everything is great. But after 6 months, it goes from a great product to the worst I ever had. I think its the bulb that is doing it but you see a dimming issue where your picture get from bright and a little dim, and back to bright all night. I have send it back and they tried fixing it. but with no luck after 3 three tries, they gave me a new one. I was hopeing that it was just a bad projector I bought and that this has solved the problem, but again 6 months after the exchange, it is starting all over again. BE WARN FOR THIS PRODUCT... and now that the 1 year has expired I am now stuck with a bad projector.."

Excellent!!! Date: January 21, 2009
Pros: Exceeded expectations

"So I said to my self, "It's 720p, I'll get 1080p when I can afford it." My friends cannot tell the difference! in fact hook this baby up to a Blu Ray and WOW!!! easy to set up. At 10 feet I get a little over 100inches! The detail is FANTASIC! photos do not do the projector justice. Get yours today!!!"

Boy were we suprised! Date: January 20, 2009
Pros: Durable, Exceeded expectations, Convenient, Easy to use
Cons: manual zoom and focus

"12 months and 2400 lamp hours (yes, the new one is on its way from Japan) have gone by, and the only thing I can come up with to 'diss' this baby is that it doesn't have power zoom and focus.

Great contrast, extremely viewable at 120" on a wall even under bright room lighting or off-axis sunlight. Obviously, the 1.1:1 screen that we covered the wall at home with made it even better, but road trips and presentations work well on any eggshell to white surface.

Picture quality impressive with S-VID input (50' of cable from satellite DVR standard definition), even more so with HDMI (again, 50', high definition cable DVR). Although I haven't yet found the "right" resolution/scan rate combination for the laptop, it's been quite readable the few times we've used it.

If you're looking for a good starter home theater or high-end presentation projector, look no further!"

The PT-AX200U is AWESOME!!! Date: October 10, 2008
Pros: Exceeded expectations, Convenient, Easy to use

"I bought this projector to replace my PT-AE500U projector. I have a 130" screen and the PT-AX200U does a fantastic job. I don't subscribe to any HD packages but I noticed a big differance in image quality right away. Much clearer, crisper brighter pictures and movies... WOW! you will love this one.
my only con for the PT-AX200U is it does not have a left to right keystone function, only top to bottom. Because I had to use my existing celing mount and location my imge will always be a bit trapaziodal not a true rectangle."
