Pros: Durable, Exceeded expectations, Convenient, Easy to use
Cons: manual zoom and focus
"12 months and 2400 lamp hours (yes, the new one is on its way from Japan) have gone by, and the only thing I can come up with to 'diss' this baby is that it doesn't have power zoom and focus.
Great contrast, extremely viewable at 120" on a wall even under bright room lighting or off-axis sunlight. Obviously, the 1.1:1 screen that we covered the wall at home with made it even better, but road trips and presentations work well on any eggshell to white surface.
Picture quality impressive with S-VID input (50' of cable from satellite DVR standard definition), even more so with HDMI (again, 50', high definition cable DVR). Although I haven't yet found the "right" resolution/scan rate combination for the laptop, it's been quite readable the few times we've used it.
If you're looking for a good starter home theater or high-end presentation projector, look no further!"
