"I've had better shavers for the price. I was expecting a little more considering the price. Took about 30 days for shaver to adapt to my head. I shave my head with this product. Hard to hold while shaving head."

Pros: Exceeded expectations

"Being a long-time Norelco user, I felt it was time for a change. I took my Best Buy gift cards and bought a new shaver. I did a little online research and decided to try a Panasonic. I had just enough in my gift cards for the ES 8103.

I've been using it for about a month now and have been very impressed. I use it in the shower with a little Edge shave gel. It does a much better job than my Norelco ever did. No razor burn or dusty whiskers to clean out in the sink. For some reason, though, it doesn't perform as well on my neck.

I get about 10-12 shaves per charge. The LED indicator gives a % charge in 10% increments, which is nice for me in that I can see just about how many shaves I have left. Better plug it in before it dies, though, because you can't use the shaver while it's plugged in. Weird, I know.

I'm glad I didn't splurge and get the ultimate package with the cleaning/charging unit. It's nice just to use in the shower, clean, and let it sit.

So to sum up:

Pros: great performance in the shower, easy to clean, durable, LED indicator, great value.

Cons: neck performance lacking, can't use while plugged in."
