"I bought this portable DVD player based solely on its 13 hr. rated battery. I was on a trip to Lima, Peru with 10 hrs. of fly time, and I was not disappointed! I went ahead and left the screen on the normal daylight setting to really test it. After watching DVDs for 9 1/2 hrs.(using headphones), I checked the battery level and still had 2 out of 3 bars....Impressive!!!"

"I bought an older version of this player years ago, and I must say that it is the best DVD player I have ever found, and I've had a number of cheap ones. I have litteraly taken it into the cobat zone in Iraq and it has survived 2 deployments. It is tough! I have fallen asleep with it on my bed and knocked it onto the floor numerous times, and it still works great! Aside from it's duribility, the picture is bright, the sound loud, and the battery actually does last 13 hours! Even after all this time, the battery still lasts. I am buying this player again for my finance because it works so great for me!"
