"I got this as soon as it became available. It is the best plasma compared to all the others I found in stores. I like the Viera Cast to watch YouTube videos. I hope that eventually TVs will just put a simple computer inside and have a web browser to surf any website instead of being limited to just the couple widgets available now. I'm sure we will see that in the future. While this set has plenty of input ports, I was hoping that I could connect on a particular input line both a component and svideo but it appears I could only connect one or the other. I am already using the other input lines. My problem is I have too many devices. I have a SVHS VCR, a DVD HDD recorder, digital cable box, Blu-ray player, and 5.1 stereo receiver hooked up. I had to hook the VCR to the front input ports on the TV but I would have preferred to hook on the back. There should be some smart switching to detect which is the live signal and use the component when active or svideo when active. If both active then pick a priority like svideo signal would be chosen over the component vid. That way I could connect both my VCR and DVD HDD recorder onto one input."
