Best SSD for the Buck Date: July 9, 2009
Pros: Inexpensive, Compact, Exceeded expectations, Convenient, Easy to use, 16gb and 16x optical zoom

"I had recently purchased another major brand for my brother that was an SSD HD camcorder and found it to be great, the only problem was that it was 8 GB (1.35hr full HD). On this Camera the TM20, you get 16GB (over 3hr) and awesome picture quality in a small, responsive unit. The iA focus system is great and is comparable to any other camcorder system. The nicest thing is that you can pick this camera up and use it without a whole lot of reading. Even my dad was impressed with how quick it was to start up (he still uses the old 8mm Hifi tapes because he doesn't want to wait for discs to load and hard drives to spin up.) Also he had no problem using it either.
Pick a feature and compare it to any other, this camera stands up. Now if you get caught up on the fact that the still camera resolution is low, buy a still camera that will meet your needs. This is a camcorder and I use it to record video rather then my digital SLR, which is for pictures.
For the price you can get a great still camera and this camcorder while staying well below higher end models.

This camera is awesome for the backyard family videographer, and has the quality to be used by many others in the digital media fields."
