"This camera has everything I could ever need in a camera, including a fantastic zoom and wide angle lens. Picture quality is excellent and picture to picture time is very quick. One small detail that i think may have been overlooked is the mode dial is loose and can be changed when putting in a camera case or pocket. Nothing that can't be lived with, but a slightly larger problem I noticed on a recent vacation is that the battery life is not quite as advertised. I can only get about 50 pictures of normal use per charge...not 300, so an extra battery is recommended.

Overall I am very satisfied with this camera and its ease of use, and I would recommend to others!"

"I replaced a lost/stolen Tz5 with this camera. After a month I am very satisfied. The pics are better and the hd video function with a class6 card is great. It is easier to use than the tz5, but a bit more complicated than digital cameras in the past. I find it to be expensive compared to other cameras, but I would purchase it again. The zoom, hd video and picture quality make the camera worth the extra cost."
