"Great camera, excellent battery life, BUT does NOT accpet generic batteries. If you are going to purchase a second or replacement battery the only batteries that the camera accepts are Lumix. I had purchased a second battery (generic) only to find out that the camera did not accept the battery.

Be careful of sites that list generic batteries as compatable with the camera. From what I have been able to learn any DMC-ZS3 that was made after June 2009, or if you have upgraded your camera, they will not accpet the generic batteries."

"I have only had the camera a short time, but love it! The varity of picture features is amazing. Was very impressed with the shutter speed settings. Love the burst features, video recording and play back are great."

"I think they should include the Mini Hdmi cable. Also, a little dissapointed with quality of picture when playing back AVCHD on HD TV with SD card class 6 through my new panasonic BR DVD player with SD card slot. You must have a class 6 SD card, because Class 2 wasn't acceptable. I guess it will do, on the computer it looked very good.

Wide angle lens is great! I like the features of the camera. This is my 4th Lumix camera and even thought this is the heaviest of the bunch, I am excited to use it!

You must download software to play AVCHD on your computer.

The sound of video playback is excellent."

"Great camera, Great optics, works very well in dark settings, great automatic settings, LONG LONG battery life !, very nice UI settings and programming, Only issues are the Mini HDMI cable, just dont loose it they are not easy to find at your local stores, its something you will need to get fro the web."
