"This is simply a great camera. It's very user friendly and quick to master. It's ergonomics are excellent and and it's a pleasure to use.
The HD video is stunning!
The micro 4/3 lens really makes a more compact camera that gives big camera performance. The supplied lens is very crisp through the whole range. We got the 45-200, which we use a lot of, and is a great addition if you need more reach.

We looked long and hard at the other makes, which all our friends shoot, and are very glad we have a GH1!"

"Somewhat compact. Great feature set and very easy to use design.

A bit expensive, but does come with a decent usable kit lens.

The .5m minimum focal distance on the lens makes it difficult to shoot close-ups.

Cannot change the menu language.

iA mode with some motion can produce blurry pictures more often than expected.

Video recording is very easy.

1080p video capture is limited to 24fps. This can be a bit too slow and jerky for some."
