"Picked this unit up at a great price, my LCD that I had prior had serious issues that I haven't seen at all (no dead pixels, yay!). I misjudged the amount of glare it would get, but even so it's not much to whine about. I wish it had more HDMI inputs, and some stronger built-in speakers. Be careful when hooking up a pc or laptop to this. the best pc resolution i was able to get was difficult to achieve. and i had to fiddle around with the brightness/contrast since the tv was darker than my laptop screen. but that was through the PC vga input.
and the speakers are weak. big time. i didn't realize that my laptop speakers pumped out clearer, louder sound than this tv. and i have a budget laptop.
you get what you pay for. and in this case, more than what you pay for with visual quality."

"I just picked this up yesterday, when I exchanged a Vizio XVT unit for this one.

It's our first Plasma TV and I'm surprised at the picture out of the box and after a little adjustment it got even better.

Picture is better than an LCD to me.

I don't know if mine is a fuke or not, but it does do 1080p. Hooked up my Xbox 360 (through HDMI) and set it to 1080p and it worked great.

Just make sure you have an HD source like Blu-Ray, HDTV, HD-DVD, Xbox 360 etc.

Sound is not great like the Vizio but is still very good."

"Bought to use as a monitor. This set either shrinks the picture down to a 37" (which I could have gotten for a lot cheaper) or crops it so bad you can't see a large portion of the screen. I've been through every aspect combination and display resolution. Very disappointing. May return."
