"I use to work as a camra man for a local TV station filming sporting events. I recently purchased The VDR D50 and find it to be a great camra for the price. The Optic Image Stabilization is very nice. Almost as fluid as a floating studio rig. The D50 of course dose not have all the bells and whistles of a $2000 and up cam. Panasonic still managed to put in some nice features. The soft skin feature gives good edge smoothing without loss of picture quality. The Backlight feature is good. I would have liked to have an infrared night vision capability but I'm not complaining."

Does not work with Vista 64 bit
Date:December 15, 2008
Pros: Inexpensive, Compact, Durable, Easy to use
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor documentation, does not work with vista 64 bit
"The camera works great. It is easy to use and takes great videos and stills. What I am extremely dissatisfied with is the fact it does not work with Windows Vista 64 bit and nowhere does it state that fact."
